Guyot-Sionnest Philippe
Guyot-Sionnest, Philippe Oliva porphyria "If we had to select the 20 most beautiful seashells, Oliva porphyria would be certainly elected. Its perfect form and pattern places it among the most attractive. The design of this shell seems like Indian typies or mountains sommits. This is the biggest representative of this shell family. Oliva porphyria is not so rare if we search some normal sizes. It's a shell particularly searched and collected. This species has been taken back very early by travellers coming from Central America, which explains its presence in a lot of private collections.
